Finding Authenticity, Purpose & Spirituality
Purpose and spirituality go together for me because both are about the big picture.
One is the biggest picture in life, and the other the big picture in your life.
Spirituality gives us clarity, direction and meaning, as does a sense of purpose.
A lot of people find purpose & meaning through religion...but if you don't have that, where can you turn?
I spent many years searching for meaning, purpose & Truth in the universe – through science, religion, and various spiritual practices.
And what it taught me was one thing: that purpose and Ultimate Truth or Reality is inherently an inward journey.
This is why the mystics, saints and masters prioritized introspection, contemplation & meditation.
The answers to life's greatest questions are found within (as cliche as it sounds).
Purpose is one of those questions.
Who am I? Why am I here?
If this is something you think about or wonder, know that you have the answers within you.
Nobody else can truly know who you are or why you are here more than you.
But this doesn't mean that it's easy.
You need the right questions, guidance, and direction to find the answers that are within you – to discover and discover your deeper truths.
And that's the point.
Regardless if you identify as "spiritual" or not, purpose is an inward journey – one where you start to discover who you are, and how to live a life that is aligned with who you are.
Most people who come to see me with issues around life purpose – they feel empty, like their life is good, but isn't fulfilling, alive or meaningful – haven't even begun their self-discovery journey.
They don't know who they are.
And if you don't know who you are, how can you answer the question of why you're here?
What do you truly want?
What will make you happy?
And if you know, what's in the way of you creating this life???
