Relationship Fulfillment
A lot of clients come to me for relationships advice & guidance.
Usually, they struggle to communicate their feelings & needs effectively, and their partners/wives grow frustrated and resentful, creating ongoing tension and arguments.
Maybe you hold in your feelings, withdraw or simply avoid conflict or disagreements altogether (i.e. people pleasing).
Or, maybe you lash out in frustration and anger yourself.
Regardless, healthy communication and conflict resolution are essential skills when it comes to allowing relationships to flourish & thrive.
When issues are not addressed fully and completely, partners feel unmet, resentment builds, and you start to see cracks in the relationships.
Partners begin to lose safety & trust with one another, and distance grows.
I think this is one of the most common scenarios in long-term relationships & marriages.
Intimacy fades.
Cheating can happen, emotionally or physically.
And partners begin to feel more and more alone in their relationship even though they are together.
As with anything, the road to change begins with the you.
Relationships are breeding grounds for unhealthy, insecure attachment styles & patterns to show up and get stuck on repeat.
But you can break the cycle by first becoming aware of what your pattern is, and then identifying and processing the root cause.
You probably learned these unhealthy patterns of relating & reacting from your environment – whether it was your parents' marriage, unhealthy dynamics between you and your family growing up, or even from childhood traumas.
Attachment patterns can come from a variety of sources, but it's important to recognize where they come from and begin healing.
Only then can you being to show up in your relationship authentically, confidently and more regulated in yourself.
